This simple act has captured the hearts and minds of people all over the world. As a result, at 8pm March 29, 2008 millions of people in some of the world’s major capital cities, including Copenhagen, Toronto, Chicago, Melbourne, Brisbane and Tel Aviv will unite and switch off for Earth Hour.

A little bird was flying south for the winter. It was so cold the bird froze and fell to the ground in a large field.

While it was lying there, a cow came by and dropped some dung on it. As the frozen bird lay there in the pile of cow dung, it began to realize how warm it was.

The dung was actually thawing him out! He lay there all warm and happy, and soon began to sing for joy.

A passing cat heard the bird singing and came to investigate. Following the sound, the cat discovered the bird under the pile of cow dung, and promptly dug him out and ate him.

Moral of the story:

1. Not everyone who shits on you is your enemy.
2. Not everyone who gets you out of shit is your friend.
3. And, when you’re in deep shit, it’s best to keep your mouth shut!

Is it wrong to be sad and upset over a grade you get in college? I mean, if you get a lower grade than you expected. Is it wrong to cry over it? Is it bad to lose motivation because of it?

And how can I help myself to be motivated again and work harder for a better grade?

I already work hard enough. Do I just need to learn to deal with critizism which is the comments that teacher writes to me for why I got a certain grade?

Does anyone else feel that a lower grade and comments that come with it do not make me want to work harder for a better grade?
